Calistoga

A few weeks back, George and I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary. We headed down the road to a cute and quaint little town that George has scouted out through work – Calistoga.

We started the day at Old Faithful Geyser of California. We happened to arrive just minutes before one of its numerous daily eruptions.

After, we enjoyed seeing and feeding the goats and alpaca.

It was beautiful there. And a lot of fun.

We caught a second eruption while planning out our next stop. We opted to head to The Depot to grab lunch. We ended up with pizza. It was decent for gluten free/vegan, though very pricey. The Depot was a neat stop and surprisingly very empty for all it offered.

We did end up returning later in the day for some chocolates.

After lunch, we headed to The Petrified Forest. It was so fun walking the trails, seeing the sights and learning.

We ended the day with ice cream at the Calistoga Creamery. Delicious vegan dark chocolate ice cream and even a gluten free piece of cone.

Cheers to many more, Georgie <3
