Our last week in Petaluma sure went quickly. We managed to pack in some fun at the KOA and downtown. The girls had been wanting to try the gem panning at the park. Ellie also had been asking to have her hair cut. She’d seen Lions & Tigers & Hair during some of our previous… Continue reading Back in the Sac Area

Hello from Petaluma
About one week ago, we moved to Petaluma. We were sad to leave friends and a wonderfully sweet RV park. Though, we are thrilled to be closer to the coast and lucked out with another great park. There’s also a beautiful pool we have yet to hit. The girls are so excited to be able… Continue reading Hello from Petaluma
Oroville and Back to School
About one month ago we hit the road to Oroville. A place we’ve been before. This time we opted for the RV park George stayed at during line school rather than the casino we stayed at about 3 years ago. We’re loving all the space to play. Followed by the online end of… Continue reading Summer
Mom Mobile

Living in a 5th wheel and unsure which buildings at the RV resort would be accessible at 3:30 am, George and… Continue reading Mom Mobile
From Bradenton to Venice
Two weeks ago we moved about 30 miles south to Venice (FL). We spent the previous 3 months at Winter Quarters Manatee in Bradenton. With the back and forth to New Port Richey, we didn’t do as much exploring as we would have liked, but here are a few places we enjoyed in the area.… Continue reading From Bradenton to Venice
Bye Bye Brownstone
It’s almost been two weeks since the sale on the townhouse closed. The increased freedom is starting to sink in after enjoying a couple of weekends free from tying up loose ends there. As with most big life changes, I learned a lot. Furnish for functionality rather than to fill a space. While we utilized… Continue reading Bye Bye Brownstone
