Fall Fun

Fall is my favorite. Even though it remains hot, we enjoyed some fall fun this weekend.

On Saturday morning the girls made Witch Candy Boxes at Home Depot’s monthly Kids Workshop. They had a great time building the boxes and decorating them.

We couldn’t leave Home Depot without some decor. We purchased color changing lights to dress up our porch all year long.

Later the girls decorated pumpkins while I hung the lights. They just wanted to use Sharpies ha!

We kicked off Saturday morning at our favorite local farm, 24 Carrot Farm. We picked strawberries, cut pumpkins from the vine and picked up some other veggies from the farm store. The strawberries were gone within 20 minutes of arriving home :). They were so sweet!

Maeve’s weekend wish was to bake cookies with chocolate chips and gems (Unreal’s version of M&Ms). We got to work on those after enjoying the strawberries.

Please excuse the missing cookies 🙂

We rounded out the afternoon with some nail painting.

By evening, it was starting to cool down enough to enjoy dinner on the porch.
